Terms of Use

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These terms apply to WarRoom: the website and web app, the WarRoom Mobile app for iPhone and Android, and the WarRoom API and AI-assistant (MCP) connection. Version 2026-10-04.

Who we are

WarRoom is provided by Nelson Development (Pty) Ltd, trading as One Eleven, registered at 1 Cormorant Crescent, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7945, South Africa. In these terms, “One Eleven”, “we” and “us” mean that company. Contact us at support@oneeleven.tech.

Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using WarRoom, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use WarRoom. If you use WarRoom on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

We also ask you to accept these terms in WarRoom before you first send a chat message, and again if they change significantly.

Who can use WarRoom

WarRoom is a workplace tool. You must be at least 18, and you need an invitation from an organization, or your own organization, to work in it.

The service

WarRoom is a shared workspace for teams and their clients: boards, projects, sprints, documents, chat and time tracking. Features may change over time.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for what happens in it. Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.

Acceptable use: zero tolerance

WarRoom has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, upload, send or link to anything that:

  • harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates or stalks anyone;
  • attacks or demeans people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or any similar characteristic;
  • is sexually explicit or pornographic, or sexualizes anyone in any way;
  • sexualizes, exploits or endangers children, in any form;
  • shows or encourages graphic violence, terrorism or violent extremism;
  • encourages self-harm or suicide;
  • promotes or helps illegal activity, such as fraud or the sale of illegal goods;
  • shares someone else’s private information (such as their address, ID or financial details) without their permission;
  • impersonates anyone, or misleads people about who you are;
  • is spam, a scam or phishing, or contains malware;
  • infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.

You also must not:

  • access, or try to access, data or accounts you are not allowed to;
  • disrupt or overload the service, get around its limits or security, or scrape it, other than through our API as documented;
  • use WarRoom to break any law.

Moderation, reporting and blocking

Filtering

WarRoom automatically checks chat messages for slurs, hate speech and severe abuse, in English and Arabic, and masks those words before anyone else sees them. Automatic filtering is not perfect, which is why reporting and blocking exist.

Reporting

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these terms, report it. Open the message’s menu (on a phone, press and hold the message) and choose Report message. To report a person, choose Report from their name. You can always email support@oneeleven.tech as well. A report goes to the owners and admins of that organization and to One Eleven.

We review every report and act on it within 24 hours. If content breaks these terms, we remove it, and we remove the user who posted it from the organization or from WarRoom altogether. Organization owners and admins can also remove messages and members themselves.

Blocking

You can block another user from their message or their name. Once you block someone, their chat messages are folded away for you (you can still choose to show one), you get no chat notifications from them, and neither of you can start a new direct message with the other. Notifications about your work, such as tasks assigned to you or sign-off requests, still reach you. They are not told, and nobody else’s view changes. You can unblock them at any time in Settings, under Blocked people.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you create in WarRoom. You give One Eleven the limited rights needed to host, store, copy, display and process it, to provide WarRoom to you and to the people you share it with, including when you use AI features. You are responsible for what you post and for having the right to post it.

What you contribute to an organization’s workspace is also part of that organization’s record. If you delete your account, those contributions stay with the organization under the name “Former member”, as the account deletion page explains, and these rights continue for that purpose.

Organizations and clients

An organization’s owner and admins control who can access its workspace and what each person can see. Clients see only the projects they are invited to. If you leave or are removed from an organization, you lose access to its workspace.

AI features

AI features can be wrong. Check AI-generated content before you rely on it or share it.

Other services

Services you use with WarRoom, such as GitHub, Google, Apple and GIPHY, are governed by their own terms.

The WarRoom Mobile app and app stores

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the WarRoom Mobile app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.

If you got the app from Apple’s App Store

  • These terms are between you and Nelson Development (Pty) Ltd only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Your licence lets you use the app on Apple-branded products you own or control, as the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions allow (including Family Sharing where it applies).
  • We, not Apple, are solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for it, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, not Apple’s.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for any claim by you or anyone else about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  • If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to us: Nelson Development (Pty) Ltd, 1 Cormorant Crescent, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7945, South Africa, support@oneeleven.tech.
  • You must follow any third-party terms that apply when you use the app.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right (and is taken to have accepted the right) to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

If you got the app from Google Play

The Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your use of Google Play. Google is not responsible for the app or its content; we are.

Availability

WarRoom is provided “as is”. We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension and termination

We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that break these terms. For serious breaches, such as the content listed under acceptable use, we may do this at once and without warning. You can stop using WarRoom and delete your account at any time.

Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new “last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app or by email. By continuing to use WarRoom after a change takes effect, you agree to the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
