Delete your WarRoom account

Last updated: October 4, 2026

This page explains how to delete your account for WarRoom and the WarRoom Mobile app, by Nelson Development (Pty) Ltd, trading as One Eleven. One account covers both the app and the website, so deleting it in one place deletes it everywhere.

Before you start

  • Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no grace period.
  • Want a copy first? Use Export my data in Settings on the website before you delete. You cannot reach it afterwards.
  • Own an organization? It needs a new owner, or to be closed, before your account can go. Email support@oneeleven.tech and we will do either for you.
  • Signed in a while ago? For your security, deletion only works from a sign-in in the last 24 hours. If you are asked to, sign out, sign in again, and repeat the steps.

Delete in the WarRoom Mobile app

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings and tap Delete my account.
  3. Type the email address you sign in with.
  4. Tap Delete my account forever.
  5. If you use Sign in with Apple, confirm with Apple when asked (see below).

Delete on the website

  1. Open Settings on the website and sign in if asked. (Once signed in, it is also in the menu under your name or photo.)
  2. Under Danger zone, click Delete my account, then Continue.
  3. Type the email address you sign in with, then click Delete my account.

Can’t sign in? Ask by email

Email support@oneeleven.tech from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my WarRoom account”. If you can’t use that address, tell us what it is; we will check that the account is yours before we delete anything. We delete the account within 30 days, and usually much sooner, and email you when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in: email address, password, and every active session on every device.
  • Your profile: display name and photo.
  • Your API tokens and connected apps, such as AI assistants and Google Calendar.
  • Your membership of every organization and project.
  • Your push notification tokens, notification settings and quiet hours.
  • Your reactions in chat, your read and mute settings, and your list of blocked people.

What is kept, and why

WarRoom is a shared workspace: what you contributed is also part of your team’s and clients’ record of the work. So it stays with the organization, with your name removed.

  • Messages in shared conversations (channels, project chats and direct messages) stay where they are, shown as from “Former member”.
  • Tickets, comments, documents, boards, files and time entries stay with the organization, also shown as “Former member”.
  • Document sign-offs: if you formally signed off a document, the name you signed with stays on that record, because the organization may need it for legal claims. Your email address and device details are removed from it.
  • Abuse reports that you made or that name you, for 12 months, to protect people from repeated abuse.
  • A deletion record: that an account was deleted and when, without your name or email.
  • Legal and billing records that the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.

Database backups are made daily and each is kept 7 days, so your deleted data can remain in a backup for up to 7 days, then it is gone. Technical logs are kept 30 days.

Want some of your messages gone completely? Before you delete your account, delete them yourself (open the menu on a message you sent, or press and hold it on a phone, and choose Delete message), or ask an admin of that organization to remove them.

If you signed in with Apple or Google

Sign in with Apple

When you delete your account in the app, you confirm with Apple once more, and WarRoom then asks Apple to disconnect WarRoom from your Apple Account. Your account is deleted even if you skip that step or Apple cannot be reached.

If you deleted your account on the website or by email, or the Apple step did not complete, disconnect WarRoom yourself: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple, choose WarRoom and tap Delete. Apple explains this on Manage your apps with Sign in with Apple.

Sign in with Google

You can remove WarRoom’s access from your Google Account connections.
